Here’s an Idea for a new Oath of Office and upgraded Pledge for Representative Office holders ; I pledge my Allegiance to my Flag and Country, and to the Constitution and the Republic for which it was created. Our Nation Indivisible, beholden only to God. Created to insure Liberty, Equal Justice, and Freedom for all. I furthermore pledge, promise and swear to defend it’s Constitutional Principles against all of it’s enemies, no matter where situate, with my Life, Liberty, and Sacred Honor, So Help Me God, and keep me steadfast in the due performance of the same.
