I don’t believe in an armed revolt because no revolt ever anywhere at any time was won without outside help, even the American Revolution would have failed if it weren’t for the aid and arms received from France and their war with England. That took the heat off of us for a greater extent and England had to set their priorities to win against France and let us go.

Jerry, it’s not about age, it’s about training. Especially training in counter insurgency that most Vietnam Vets have a working knowledge of. The vets also know what is needed logistically to win. Resistance fighters need help from another source just like Revolutionaries do when fighting a superior more organized Foe.

It has been said that the relocation camps for the Japanese Americans were based in racial fear as well as a legitimate fear of 5th columnists. It was found out after the war that about 18% to 20% of the internees were actually Japanese spies and around 15% of the Germans incarcerated ( yes there were some but it was not talked about by the Left because they were White Europeans). there were many spies in the Civil War including the now well known KGC ( Knights of the Golden Circle) and the North had it’s spies too. that is a regular part of warfare. Look at what happened in Vietnam because of the orders of the ultra Liberal Johnson Administration with Project Phoenix.

Soldiers serve their country to ”PROTECT AND DEFEND THE CONTITUTION” Not to give power to the federal govt. That includes both active duty and veterans. They do it for their own Liberties provided by that document and the Liberties of their families and fellow citizens. I NEVER met another patriot that risk EVERYTHING for socialism and tyranical govt. The Constitution is a contract between our govt and it’s people. Break that contract and ALL BETS ARE OFF.

Jerry, I never said what they did was right, just expedient and a reaction mostly out of fear but also out of real concerns for the safety of the Country and it’s ability to go on a wartime footing. the Fiction of the times continuously used the ’Yellow Menace’ theme for the bad guys, but that was directed mostly against the Chinese of the twenties and thirties, and it to was wrong. Every ethnicity who came to America with the exception of the original English, were the victims of prejudice and were abused, as a matter of fact, it’s still happening. this Country is not perfect, but to our credit, the majority of us do continue to work towards that goal. Obama has caused a serious setback of the gains we have made as a Nation over the last sixty years with his penchant for Fomenting class warfare. The Germans were put in Internment/POW camps in several states, mostly in the Eastern United States. I do remember once reading something about the Government using Loyal Americans of Asian, Italian, and German ancestry as Intelligence plants inside the internment/POW camps to ferret out the real fifth columnists that were suspected of spying and sabotage. ( think, the explosion was caused by a leaking gas main but the damage is under control, no cause for concern). In times of WAR the Governments always lie and overcompensate when there is a Military Force trying to annihilate us.

Jerry, Do you know what a Napalm strike looks, sounds, and smells like in the morning? Do you know what a single pass by ’Puff’ sounds like and what it leaves standing? Do you know what Arc Lighting sounds like when it hits 2000 yards away from your dug in position? Do you know the damage a ’Toe Popper’ does?

He would be a useless fool if he did do that. subtlety and misdirection in Changing America over from a Republic to a Socialist entity, setting up the have nots against the haves, redistribution of wealth ( that’s theft by the way), forcing the people who are working to finance healthcare for the ones who are here illegally (exceptions made for emergency treatment for life threatening situations are totally acceptable). Instead of setting up a reasonable flat tax situation where everyone pays a small percentage with no exemptions for anything and cutting spending to encourage job creation.
