Tired of hearing about the Iowa Caucuses? Me too! So let’s have our own. Our next meeting will be on the 4th Sunday this month, January 29th at 4:00-6:00pm upstairs (plus dinner afterwards) at John Martin’s Restaurant and Irish Pub, 253 Miracle Mile, Coral Gables, FL 33134.

Since the Florida presidential preference primary is on Tuesday, January 31st, our timing could not be better.
Just like each of the 1774 precincts in Iowa, we’ll make up our own rules. Come prepared to discuss the candidates. I hope that some passionate supporters will come and make the case for their candidate of choice as well. Wear a candidate T-Shirt if you like, bring a handout, but leave your noise makers at home (so we don’t get thrown out). We’ll have a good discussion and talk things out…and have some fun while we are doing it. I still don’t know how I will vote, as I have been disappointed by them all at one point or another.

We’ll end the event with a secret ballot, like the Iowa caucus participants…and we will tally up the results. I need volunteers to serve as 1) Sergeant-at-arms, 2) an elections czar to supervise and count the ballots and insure ballot integrity, and I also need a few rule czars to serve on the rules committee to help us keep things going, and probably make up a few rules as we go.

We’ll have fun, but we will also discuss our ground game on taking this country back from these socialist weasels that have slipped into office, and their enablers, like Bill Nelson. We’ll also have a report from the National Tea Party Patriots local coordinator meeting in Richmond.

As always, let’s have as many stay after the Raucous Caucus and join us downstairs for dinner to support our restaurant host, John Martin’s Pub. Looking forward to seeing you all again after the holiday break!
