I sent the following letter to my two Senators. If you treasure your 2nd amendment rights, I suggest that you send something similar to yours.

Dear Senator,

It comes as no great shock that those who seek to gut the Second Amendment
to the United States Constitution and subvert the Constitution to ”international law”
are attempting to resurrect the UN Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) from the dead.

It was a certainty, just as it is a certainty that some of you who vowed to oppose this
treasonous treaty will give serious consideration to breaking your word.
Believing the American people to be lacking in intelligence, some of you will
undoubtedly be tempted to advance a ridiculous narrative that harmless
changes that will be made to ATT will somehow remove the imminent threats ATT
poses to our Constitutional and God-given rights.

Accept this letter as a reminder that the American people are watching, and will not
be deceived by any attempt to re-package UN-imposed tyranny. Just in case it wasn’t
clear before, know that most Americans view support of any UN treaty that regulates
firearms in any way as an unacceptable and treasonous act.

The Constitutional right of citizens of the United States to bear firearms is God-given
and no American wants or needs the permission of the United Nations to maintain
the right to own a gun!

When members of the United Nations assembled to negotiate the framework of its
gun-control treaty, they appointed Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s Iran to spearhead
the effort.

Of course, it didn’t matter that the UN Security Council had just found
Ahmadinejad’s Iran guilty of illegally transferring guns and bombs to Syria…
weapons that Syria used to murder thousands of its own people in cold blood.

It didn’t matter to the UN because the so-called UN Arms Trade Treaty (ATT)
is not about regulating international arms trade between nation states…
the real agenda here is domestic firearms control. We’re not about to sit back and
let two faced politicians and third-world thugs get away with it.

In 480 BC when the Persians (Iran) told Leonitus and his men to surrender their arms,
the answer was two words – molon labe.
