When your son or daughter or other loved one goes off to war, there is pride in your heart as well as tears in your spirit. If they are called on to pay the ultimate price and are laid to rest in a place of honor like Arlington National Cemetery or local military cemeteries you understand in your soul that a grateful nation and its families appreciate their sacrifice as well as their noble service.
But what about those disrespectful Americans that engage in actions to attack the honored silence and solitude of the military resting place. What if instead , they decide to give the dead soldiers the finger or brazenly shout absurdities at those gathered to grieve at their loved one’s gravesite?
Lindsey Stone is such an American, who by birth can claim citizenship, but who by conduct certainly walks the line of needing to be stripped of it.

I have three sons, one who served in the army. to say that I am proud of him is an understatement.
God Bless our American Military.
Lindsay’s behavior was and is disgusting, and I personally disapprove of it. shunning her and actively reviling her is ok but while she has a Freedom of speech right to hold and express her opinion, she doesn’t have the right to break the ground rules and should have been asked to leave. If she did not leave when asked she should have been arrested for Public Nuisance and Trespassing and prosecuted accordingly for those charges.
Mc .. you are absolutley right… losing her job was one of the best things that could happen… she is a lowlife scumbag
I sent my son off. He was blown up and survived. The ultimate is sacrificing your most beloved children to war. To say that it makes you feel strange is an understatement, and then it hits you like a sledgehammer, about how many other parents felt in all wars present and previous. It is not good, but it does fill one with pride for all those who serve.
