Why is the media ignoring Ron Paul? It seems they go out of their way to ignore him even when he tied Michelle Bachmann in the Straw Poll. What are they afraid of?
How many Tea Party Patriots here believe he is the true Tea Party candidate?
To be honest, before watching the debates I believed the talk that he was Crazy Uncle Ronny. From what I can tell he is the only candidate that actually honestly stands for FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY, CONSTITUTIONALLY LIMITED GOVERNMENT, and FREE MARKETS.
I have watched every debate. I even went back and found 2008 debates and earlier speeches. He is very consistent in his positions. He does not participate in the congress pension system and voted against pay raises for congress.
Interesting observations Chris. Get active Locally and work to get him on the Ballot. The Primary Elections are the only place where we all can agree or disagree about who should run against Obama. The main thing is to close ranks when the majority have picked someone and they are the winner. We must back whoever it is against Obama and we must do the same for the Congressional and State races too. the Focus is to replace the Socialist Incumbents no matter which Party with true Conservatives if we want to stand a chance of correcting the mess the Progressives have made out of our Nation. Nothing will happen until we gain the political power.
I agree. The Joker must go along with his cronies. They have disgraced this nation and insulted its people. They are stripping away our Constitution by planting fear in our minds. Fear not and do not believe the news media. Government and media is owned by forces we cannot see. See Pres. Kennedy’s speech just before he was killed. The enemy depends upon the humans short-term memory. Be aware.
Ron Paul has been posted on YouTube a lot with speeches and interviews. Check them out. He is very consistent all the way back to 19??.

@ Jim, I do have one question about Ron. Why does Code Pink claim him for their own? Code Pink is an Avowed Anti-American, Anti-Capitalist organization dedicated to the destruction of America as we know it.
”Code Pink Counts Ron Paul in Their Camp on Israel Aid Opposition (FOX News May 2011)” I checked their website tonight and no mention of Ron Paul at all. I can see Codepink endorsing him because of his anti-war stance and support of Israel.
Paul fails because of his foreign policy. It doesn’t matter how ”Tea Party” someone is if they get us destroyed by Iran or N Korea, we lose.
I have not heard of Code Pink. I’ll get back to you.

We are getting into a debate here about foreign aid. I have to agree with RP. I do not know how many billions of dollars are going out of this country or for what? But it needs to stop. Nobody appreciates the help if help is indeed what it is. Just like welfare in this country. It is exploited tremendously.
Where Israel is concerned my memory goes back into the 70s to conversations I have had with veterans who has done duty in the Middle East. Israel has the fiercest army in the world and in history. The reason we support them is out of fear. Noting what I have recently learned about Israel being involved in the Fed and other endeavors I will not go into here I can see where we would have reason to fear them. The point is Israel is not innocent and they are very capable of taking care of themselves.
Okay, here I see Code Pink as communist/Marxist being responsible for the uprisings in Egypt and Libya. From Fox news?? Fox news reminds me of my ex-wife, don’t believe a word. A pretty nasty picture is painted about Code Pink but I’m not done yet. What I am seeing is the same story copied over and over on multiple websites. Here is a military map of the United States global occupation. That is what Ron Paul is against and if he wants to align himself with a group that wants the occupations to end I cannot blame him. I see absolutely no reason for the US to be in all those countries except for the New World order which is agenda 21 which will take away our liberties. Agenda 21 is taking property rights away from us as we speak. Code Pink? I don’t know. I will look a little farther. Just a bunch of repeats.
Okay, I searched for RP’s accomplishments in office. Here’s one, Ron Paul votes against free markets and free enterprise. That’s the headline. What he voted against was insurance paying for abortions. So he’s pro-life. I don’t like killing babies either.

Michael it is possible you are falling victim to propaganda. Wars are started by unseen forces. Read ”the unnamed war”. the media is owned by these unseen forces. We cannot rely on their information. Not even the polls. we are the only country that has ever used a nuclear weapon. Nuclear weapons totally destroy property. What good is property if it cannot be used? Food for thought?
Don’t get me wrong, I like Ron Paul… in the House of Representatives. But running against President Obama in the general, his foreign policy positions will come back to haunt him. The DNC would play a commercial with Dr. Paul mentioning that he was not all that concerned with Iran going nuclear and it would be candidate Paul’s ”Daisy” ad (see 1964 – http://www.livingroomcandidate.org/commercials/1964/peace-little-girl-daisy). That’s just my opinion.
I like Paul also on alot of issues, but he’s a little far left for me on defense. Plus he is a congressman and a congressman hasn’t won a presidential election since the 19th century. So it will be tough for Paul or Bachman to win the nomination.
Ron Paul is solid constitutional…. Which we haven’t had in this country in years…. decades. Ron Paul believes in a strong defense but doesn’t believe in unconstitutional wars without proper declaration of . I’m with him… it’s time to bring our troops home and stop bankrupting our country. Let the Middle East implode itself without anymore American blood on it.
I give this to Ron Paul and Huntsman, both want to end the military engagements in the middle east. I totally agree we should get out! Let them fight amongst themselves like they have for centuries, nothing changes over there. After we leave it will resort back to theocratic rule as usual and what have we accomplished? Nothing and how much money have we wasted the last 10 years? We need to circle the wagons here at home, drill for oil and become energy independent.
