URGENT! Please read all of this or we may lose! Do we want to win, or do we just want to play games. As long as we keep fighting over which of the candidates is most acceptable in our individual points of view to best carry the banner of our mission and core values, our voice is being muffled. All across our country, most of the liberal media pundits are mockingly filling the airwaves with scurrilous commentary about how the Tea Party coalition is too fragmented, has no collective purpose or clearly defined mission, and is no more as effective as they would want us to think, so they probably won’t be as effective as they once were. It’s time for that to change and for our collective voice be heard! So listen up!
In reference to the National Tea Party Patriots mission statements: fiscal responsibility; constitutionally limited government; free markets; what is the ultimate goal? Is it not to discover, endorse, and support that individual who best represents those objectives? Let’s be real! Are there any candidates that can be defined as “perfect” in the view of every one of us in the Tea Party Coalition, who all have differing interpretations as to how to best fulfill our mission? And that is perfectly legitimate. So again, what is the ultimate goal? We should unite to endorse and support that one or those that most closely embrace our mission, because if we don’t, our voting voice will be diluted and those who do not best embrace our core values will win by default. In light of this reality, my suggestion is that the one Presidential candidate that most closely embraces all the values and principles of the Tea Party mission is Newt Gingrich, and his record has always shown that.
