this whole stadium business makes no sense. for one thing, the metrodome was just fine as it was. but then the twins wanted one, and it was granted. then of course the vikings wanted one because the twins got one so then it’d be fair, but they had to one-up the twins by making their roof retractable. and the only reason that the vikings are even getting one is because otherwise they’d leave the state! i thought taxes were meant for important things like construction, and things like that. if they wanted a new stadium, why can’t the incredibly rich owners pay for it?
