This is the first step to TAKING AWAY PARENTAL RIGHTS in America. Once CRPD is ratified, they will go after Rights of the Child. Only two countries have not yet signed Rights of the Child Treaty – Somalia and America.
Unfortunately Jon, it will probably get pushed through and have to be decided in the Supreme Court whether it conforms to the constitution or not. Remember everything that can be done can be undone, but only if we can gain the political power first!!!
Yeah, you’re right. And there’s the other one I just posted – the treaty to give control of the internet to the UN – that won’t even see the floor of the Senate. It will have the force of law the minute it’s signed – as I understand it, because if the Vienna – Treaty on the Law of Treaties, even though it was never ratified. It was signed by the US in 1970.
Jon, that still does not trump Constitutionality. Even the Vienna treaty could be challenged if it abrogated the Constitution.
