Subject: PRIMARY ELECTIONS
Fellow Patriots:
We are writing to you because we feel that the best presidential
candidate may not be represented in the current field. We have thought of a way to get the attention of the Republican Party
and possibly change the outcome of the 2012 Election. It would take a
coordinated effort by our Patriot Groups Nationwide, hopefully
starting with your state. As you are aware, running a Third Party Candidate would give the win
to Obama. So, how do we get the attention of the Republican Power
Brokers? When a candidate acquires 1144 delegates from the Primaries
and Caucuses, he becomes the designated Presidential Candidate andthe
National Convention becomes a formality. It is just a big party (at
taxpayers expense) and all for show.We must strive to prevent this from happening. The way to do this
would be to try to control the results of the primaries and caucuses
in the states so that in the end no candidate has the needed 1144
delegates. Most states have both pledged and unpledged delegates who
could change their votes after the first roll call vote. The goal is to have an “Open Convention”. How can we accomplish
this? We must get as many people as possible to vote to keep the
current leader from amassing enough votes to extend his lead, with the
goal of all candidates ending the Primaries with less than 1144
delegates. All candidates would still be in the race and get a final
chance to state their case to the Nation. Nominations could be made
from the floor. Possibly a person that has not been in the primaries
to that point could emerge as a true leader (to Patriot standards)
that all Patriot groups, Independents and many reasonable Democrats
would vote for. It would also give us the opportunity to present
Planks from our “Patriot Party Platform”.This would be a desperate move for desperate times, but we need to
show that we, as a group, are serious about making the necessary
changes and to support those Patriots who stepped up and ran for
election in 2010. We helped them then and we must help them now to
finish what we started. The Nation cannot survive four more years of
going in the wrong direction. Please help us by making sure that all Patriot Groups in your state
are on board and ready to move before your Primary date. We will
inform the next states. If we all work together, we can do this or at
least let the Country know that we are still around and ready forthe fight.
We know that all states have different rules and that you may have to
adapt to them. Please let us know of any problems or suggestions that
you may have before the next primary. Please pick a state or region
leader to keep in touch with us for coordination purposes.Good Luck and God Speed.
Sincerely,
CENTRAL NEW YORK TEA PARTY PATRIOTS

Hey, If Ron Paul failed to get signed on or follow the state guidelines by way of the state republican party, then that is too bad. I would bet that the Ron Paul supporters would not be going to other organizations to get Perry or Romney or Newt on the Virginia primary if they didn’t failed to follow the guidelines either. AND Ron Paul broke the TPP rules he agreed to when he asked to speak to the assembly at the Patriot Summit in Phoenix. YOu are not going to find any sympathy for Mr. Paul with TPP leadership after what he had done there. He was warned! and it still happened.
One more thing. After last Monday’s and last Thursdays failure to push his way into the debate, even if he was left to the side, that is his own fault. It was not very presidential or even strategic by failing to get himself back into the mix. I think it could be the funny brownies he cooked and eaten before the debates began.
Nice approach but it borders on La La Land. You have to do what the existing voters are now doing; picking the candidate that is still availble and demonstrates that he is willing to give Obama a real fight in real time. No ONE candidate is going to fit the perfect Tea Party mold (surprise!). You need a person who can think on his feet and ”blow away” any teleprompted presentation. These debates are great because they are slowly showing the people who are the more conservative candidates. If I had to give up a little bit of conservatism for a really strong minded candidate that I know will give the best fit for freedom, I’d do it in aheart-beat. Back the man that can really get in there and beat the opponent. The idea is to get that Islamic, communistic Federal Regulator out of office for Freedoms sake. So, Please I beg of you, don’t screw this up by standing around agonizing that none of the candidates are PERFECT and compromise this opportunity away! You can’t go into this fight with a ”politically correct” cream-puff!
