State Tea Party Group

Group meets twice a month for Information night. Movies on continued political events and upcoming business

The Group is contemplated as an edgy, hard hitting activist group that will have it\'s members work on projects Like mass continuous mailings of Postcards, Faxes, E-Mails, and Letters to Congress and make Phone calls when necessary.

This is a group for our Tea Party Patriots Local Coordinators also known as Nationwide Leadership Council to communicate throughout the week between weekly webinars. Ideally, press releases, talking points, new ideas, and fast track approval for hot issues will be posted here. We are a non-partisan, grass roots organization dedicated to providing to the citizens of Pickens County information regarding pending legislation, encouraging citizens to contact their representatives and coordinating activities with other TEA Party organizations at the state and national levels. We have no ties to any political party, and no financial backing from anyone or any group.

The mission of the Pickens County Tea Party is to educate, inform and motivate to action the citizens of Pickens County who share the same core values of belief in GOD, fiscal responsibility, limited government and free markets(the values upon which this nation was founded). This independent, non-partisan group of citizens will work together within Pickens County and in concert with other local, state and national Tea Party Organizations in securing the public policy consistent with those values and electing leaders in the legislative and executive branches of government who will support those values.
