The group has begun work to develop goals for the coming months. Fiscal responsibility, limited government in line with our Constitution, along with free markets make up the core of our mission to help restore this great country\'s bright beacon of light for humanity. That our Founders were able to create such a unique form of governance never before attempted in history is a miracle. We\'ve been blessed to live and raise families in a Republic that was intended to remove all impediments to our God-given right to pursue happiness and prosperity in an atmosphere of freedom. So far, enjoyed by no other country in the world. While some may say that it will take a miracle to save the United States from the follies of those who would take us down a road which leads away from the principles of liberty, we in the TEA movement believe there resides a miracle in each and every patriot who is willing to step forward with the Banner of Liberty and speak up if they see it falter.

This group is a non-partisan, grassroots organization dedicated to upholding the ideals put forth in the Constitution, such as limited government, fiscal responsibility, and free markets. We are very much an activist group and try hard to keep our members engaged and plugged in to as many events as possible. We encourage members to get out of their comfort zones and to make waves! Grays Harbor Tea Party focuses on keeping our nation under God, Fiscal Responsibility, Free Markets and Limited Constitutional Government. Serving Ocean Shores through Elma, including Aberdeen, Hoquiam, Westport, Montesano, Grayland, Cosmopolis, Copalis, and North Beach.

We are hosting a Gorge Constitutional Tea Party at the Columbia Gorge Airport in Dallesport, Washington on September 12, 2010 from approximately 2 pm to 4pm. National know Conservative Radio Show Host Lars Larsen will be our keynote speaker. We have invited all candidates from Skamania, Klickitat, Wasco and Hood River Counties to our rally and this should be an exciting event for everyone. The Gorge Constitutional Tea Party which is a non-partisan group of people who are dissatisfied with the direction our elected representatives are taking our country. At our last Tea Party on May 15, 2010 and we featured speakers ranging from Supreme Court Justice Richard Sanders to Dave Hendricks running for Congress in District 3 to Tom Hann from We the People and more. We also had a roving mike that allowed between 700 and 1000 people from all over Klickitat County, Skamania County, Wasco County, Hood River County and beyond to share their concerns about the transgressions against our constitutional rights. We received excellent coverage on our event in all of our local papers as well as on Oregon Public Broadcasting radio. We will post additional information on our website www.gorgepatriot.com as they become available and on our Facebook site. We hope that our events will help educate, motivate and spread our message to the people in our area. This event is an easy fly in for private planes since it is at the Dallesport airport and about an hour an half drive from Portland, Oregon for commercial air travel.
