The Northern Shenandoah Valley TEA Party (NSVTP) is organized as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, nonprofit educational association. Our focus is to provide instruction for local citizens on public policy issues/subjects that are beneficial to the community. This will be accomplished through the conduct of meetings and preparation & distribution of educational material. This will include non-partisan voter education activities such as presenting public forums and publishing voter education guides. We will encourage people to participate in the electoral process, such as voter registration and get-out-the-vote drives. We do not directly or indirectly participate in political campaigns on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for elective public office. The principles of the Northern Shenandoah Valley TEA Party shall be: Fiscal Responsibility/Accountability Reduce Federal/State Spending; Tax Reform; Debt Reduction; Budget Process; Limited Government American Prosperity American Competitiveness & Free Markets; Job Creation; Energy Independence; Health Care Reform; School Choice; Environment/Conservation; Infrastructure American Values Life, Liberty & the Pursuit of Happiness; Constitutional Adherence; Individual Liberties; Strengthening Families; Transparency/Open Government; Ethics National Security National Defense/Strong Military; Homeland/Border Security; Immigration Reform; Veterans; America\'s Role in the World
