I decided to start this group when I realized that residents in Chino have no Tea Party Group. The purpose is to find like-minded conservatives to have representation and a forum to express their frustration and find the means to voice out their frustrations and their anger in the way politicians are handling this great state and country that we are so proud of. We must act now and let our voices be heard. It starts in your local community. It starts with our local politicians from the School Board, to the City Council, to the State, and Federal Government. Those who believe that they have been silenced and those who believe our politicians are failing us should get together and organize to save this country and its people. Join us! The People Speak Now is a diverse group consisting of Democrats, Republicans, Independents, and Libertarians that have come together in a common cause to SPEAK OUT against the blatant disregard of our Constitution, the loss of our liberties and the manipulation of our laws for political gains. We are disgusted at the massive spending and debt incurred by our government today leaving our children and grandchildren to pay for it. We could no longer sit idly by without standing up and letting our voices be heard. We decided to go further and establish a way for your voice to be heard along with ours. Our goal is to get the attention of the state and federal representatives. Our experience has proven that emails are ineffective. Emails are blatantly ignored or generate a "courtesy response" that does not pertain to the concerns addressed. They may be able to ignore emails but they will not be able to ignore a bombardment of postcards being poured into their offices. With this "in your face" tactic we hope to achieve a voice in our government.

Antelope Valley TeaParty Patriots is an affirmed grass roots organization of local residents of the Antelope Valley recognizing that in order for our voices to be heard, we must take an activist role in what we once entrusted to those we elected to represent us. We have been betrayed, ignored, and been taken advantage of well beyond the scope of the law of the land by our local, state, and Federal elected officials up to, and including the esteemed position of the President of the United States of America. AVTPP is not affiliated with any PAC, lobbying group, or party, and will not endorse candidates for elected office, however, we will recognize those that ascribe to our core values of Fiscal Responsibility, Constitutionally Limited Government, and Free Enterprise. Emphasis must be placed on our belief that the founding fathers knew what they were doing before and during the formation of this great country and were divinely inspired with a vision and wisdom of foresight that clearly rest in the Declaration of Independence, Constitution and The Bill of Rights. It is with regret that we must include the Amendments to the Constitution beyond the Fifteenth Amendment and it is unfortunate that only one has been repealed (Eighteenth Amendment) since. The Antelope Valley TeaParty Patriots has its own distinct and unique personality just as each of us that are a part of AVTPP. The national organization is also a not-for-profit entity that is not allowed to endorse candidates or contribute to their campaigns. AT THE CLOSE OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION, a woman asked Benjamin Franklin what type of government the Constitution was bringing into existence. Franklin replied, “A republic, if you can keep it.” WE THE PEOPLE of the Riverside Tea Party Patriots, are a nonpartisan, grassroots group of patriotic American citizens concerned about the welfare and future of the great Republic our Founding Fathers created and scores of Americans sacrificed, fought and died for, protecting and defending it for us and future generations. Therefore we are pledged to: 1.) Educate ourselves and become knowledgeable about the Constitution of the United States and the Republic our Founding Fathers intended so we can teach others. 2.) Preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic. 3.) Work to minimize government and promote fiscal responsibility. 4.)
