A workable health care reform. In the early 70s I knelt down to put air in a tire wearing shorts. My bear knee landed on a piece of broken glass that cut deep into my knee. I went to a hospital clinic and waited not too long and was sewn up and gone. The simple bill my dad got at the time holds the key to health care reform. My father was charged for the doctor and the visit which I assume was for the receptionist who figured in the cost of the supplies. The regulatory cost of health care is the problem, beside the large pools of money the insurance company and the lawyers fight over. Large pools of money are for the most vile form of capitalist. They have fought to make laws to create these piles and now they capitalize on their abilities to pilfer it. We get no choice but to pay more to carry this dead weight and hindered in services from fear of liability. Diseases arent diagnosed if the unscrupulous want a bigger bottom line by not treating it. Its more about who gets a piece of that money more than about the health care. for the socialistic Government its about expanding its ranks. Health care is so simple. GET RID OF THE DEAD WEIGHT. 16,000 IRS agents and agencys overseeing implementation wouldnt have put one stitch in my knee.They only would have added costs and duplicious record keeping and a longer list of people to figure in the billing process
