Welcome to the NYS group page for Tea Party Patriots. I thank all of you who have joined for standing up to regain sanity and conservative values back into NYS. This is an informational networking site for all NYS Tea Party Patriots to share and work with each other on legislation, issues and events. We consist of a collection of grassroots groups throughout New York State who are working together on local, state and national issues. We are growing at a tremedous pace due to individuals concern for America. As of today, August 1, 2010, we have 251 participating individuals in our organization. Our mission is to organize, educate, and inform our fellow citizens for the purpose of securing public policy consistent with our core values. We will unify and we will exercise through all legal means available, our power to effect the election of local, state, and federal candidates who espouse our core values. The Brooklyn Tea Party was founded and organized by John Press, who served as the president and leader. John led the Brooklyn Tea Party from its inception until February 2011. The enthusiasm of the members, a full-spectrum of local residents, is what makes the Brooklyn Tea Party what it is. John helped to provide all of us members with the opportunity to participate fully and express ourselves.
