A few of my friends on Facebook have voiced their disappointment for so many of us showing our support for CFA. I think CFA day may be a good preview of what this coming up election will be like. Anyway… they accuse us of hate and intolerance. But some of the most hateful, hurtful and intolerant things I’ve seen have been coming from their side. The stand that Christians are taking is the same s
tand that we always had throughout history. We never changed and we never will. If you better understand our faith maybe you will better understand our stand. We didn’t make the rules, God did. And His Word is forever settled in Heaven. The president, congress, supreme court, voters or even a thousand legions of angels will never be able to change God’s Word. Here are a few verses that address homosexuality directly. I trust that after you read these, you will be totally tolerant of Christians like you should be. Don’t ”chicken” out… Read ’em.

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, ~1 Corinthians 3:9~

That one is the New Testament by the way.

You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination. Nor shall you mate with any animal, to defile yourself with it. Nor shall any woman stand before an animal to mate with it. It is perversion. Do not defile yourselves with any of these things; for by all these the nations are defiled, which I am casting out before you. ~Leviticus 18:22-24~

I also hear a lot of homosexual supporters say that we are narrow minded.

Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. ~Matthew 7:13-14~

I was never aloud as a kid to say that I hated someone, even if I was joking. I’ve had a few people really do me wrong, but I don’t hate them. Being that I’ve always been careful never to let hatred grow in my heart, it bothers me to be accused of hatred. You all need to study the reasons why Christians believe like we do and then respect that. If I hated you, I wouldn’t share the truth with you. The truth hurts.
