I am posting a draft of a petition I intend to circulate nationwide. We need to acquire 2/3 of the electorate in each of no less than 34 states in order to succeed in having it ratified. This is by far the best way to regain control of our government and return it to the people. If you have any suggestions or critiques, I welcome them. If you would like to join with me in this effort, please send me an email with your name, county and state you live in. We will need coordinators at the state, county, and local subdivisions. Needless to say, we will need hundreds of thousands of conservatives dedicated to the cause. Let me know if you will have the time and energy to lead a signature campaign, and at what level. My email is tonymorro@gmail.com

PETITION TO AMEND THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES
    PETITIONER/SPONSOR – Anthony Mucciolo

WE THE PEOPLE, registered voters residing in ______________________________ County, in the Commonwealth/State of _________________________________ do, with this Petition, request and direct the State Legislature to apply to the Congress of the United States for the calling of a Constitutional Convention in accordance with the law and procedure embodied in Article V of the U.S. Constitution, and the 10th Amendment which states – “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

The major goals of this constitutional amendment are threefold: to CONFIRM, REINSTATE, and DELIVER those powers usurped by the federal Government BACK to the people and the States; RESTORE the traditional balance of power between the States, the Federal Government, and the Courts; and to DEMAND that all laws and executive orders passed by the Congress and signed by the President must be obligatory upon the citizenry and all members of government alike. In order to accomplish these ends, we submit this proposal for the sole and specific or particular changes to existing Articles and/or additional amendments as explained below.

Article I sections I and II, Article II sections I and II, and IV, and Article III section I of the Constitution of the United States shall be amended to include language consistent with, and reflective of, the will of the people as stated herein. The Federal Government is instituted by, and derives its powers from the consent of the governed, therefore, WE THE PEOPLE demand that ALL of our vested and inalienable rights be restored to us, which include special mention of our religious liberties, and that the Constitution provide for the implementation of the following changes:

    1) WE THE PEOPLE reserve the right to call for special elections, to be held within our congressional and senatorial districts at such time and times the electorate calls into question the willingness, ability, and/or failure of their elected officers to perform their sworn duties to uphold, defend, and protect the Constitution of the United States; fail to secure the safety and security of the people, neglect to fulfill or make every effort to fulfill the promises made during their campaigns, and/or being remiss in vigorously supporting those issues that are of paramount importance to the citizens immediately affected by their influence and vote. This edict shall apply to all three branches of Government, and their members.

American citizens are unwilling, and should not be forced, to await the completion of a two, four, or six year term before we can replace an official whom we no longer have confidence in to represent our best interests. Notwithstanding, if the elected official garners a majority vote he may retain his seat until the end of his term. This right will be reserved to the people perpetually. If a seated official cannot garner a majority vote, the people will be empowered, in conjunction with their State legislators to call for a special election and nominate candidates; from which one will be elected to replace and remove the current occupant from office.

    2) Judges will no longer be appointed to their seat by the President of the United States or any other official of government. Effective immediately upon ratification of the proposed amendment, the Judiciary Branch will nominate candidates whom they believe will diligently uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States with integrity and honor. An “appointed” judge will always owe its loyalty, in whole or in part, to the party or individual appointing him/her, thus diminishing their ability to judge ALL matters according to the Constitution and just conscience. Furthermore, an appointment to the Judicial Branch by a member of the Executive Branch inappropriately enjoins the two branches of Government and weakens or diminishes the strength and integrity of the three branches government and its system of checks and balances, as fore-ordained by the Founding Fathers.

    3) All laws and executive orders put into effect by the Congress and President of the United States must be obligatory upon the citizens and their elected officials alike. Justice dictates that If a law or directive is enforceable upon the people then it must be enforced in equal measure upon those who seek its passage.
