Rep. Gohmert to gun-control nuts: ‘Radical Islam killed these people!’

Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) Wednesday challenged liberal members of Congress – staked out in the House Chamber for a so-called gun-control “sit in” – who demanded representatives in the wake of the Orlando terror attack vote on gun-control legislation that would tighten background checks for gun buyers – a measure, says Gohmert, that’s beside the point. “We are talking about radical Islam. Radical Islam killed these people!” Rep. Gohmert is heard saying to his liberal colleagues in Periscope footage filmed during the 16-hour demonstration. The legislation House liberals wanted a vote on would block those on the “no-fly” and ...

Tea Party Patriots Pleased and Grateful to the House Judiciary Committee for Holding a Second Hearing into Misconduct of IRS Commissioner and Call for a Vote of Impeachment

ATLANTA, Ga – Tea Party Patriots CEO and co-founder Jenny Beth Martin released the following statement today after the House Judiciary Committee adjourned its second hearing into the misconduct of IRS Commissioner John Koskinen.   “We are pleased and grateful that the House Judiciary Committee today held a second hearing into the misconduct of IRS Commissioner John Koskinen. It is beyond clear that the Obama Administration has no interest in holding Commissioner Koskinen accountable for lying to Congress under oath and failing to comply with a subpoena, so the House is the only chance Americans have for accountability. Under President ...

Bill of Rights Week: Call and Tweet the House Judiciary Committee to tell them to impeach John Koskinen

IRS releases list of more than 425 organizations targeted for their political beliefs

The Internal Revenue Service after admitting more than three years ago agency officials targeted Americans for their political beliefs has finally released an almost-exhaustive list of the charities it homed in on for extra scrutiny as the agency slow-rolled applications for tax-exempt status. Fox News has the story: The new list shows a total of 426 organizations, far higher than what the Treasury Department’s inspector general believed there to be in May 2013, when he identified 298 groups. The names span the gamut, covering well-known groups like Tea Party Patriots but also lower-profile local outfits like the Louisiana Campaign for ...

WATCH: Attorney For Groups Targeted By IRS Brilliantly Educates Caller About The First Amendment

As the congressional investigation and calls for President Obama’s IRS Commissioner John Koskinen to step down continued to heat up earlier this week, someone called in to a Washington Journal segment on C-SPAN with guest Cleta Mitchell – attorney for Tea Party Patriots and a number of other groups singled out by the IRS – throwing out an apparent hypothetical and saying, if he were an IRS official and aware of the anti-IRS stance of an organization, he would do all within his power to derail that organization. Ms. Mitchell wasn’t having any of it… Townhall has the details: “I am a lowly clerk at the IRS, looking at your application ...

Senate Homeland Security Chairman Sen. Ron Johnson: ‘We have multiple threats to our critical infrastructure’

Senate Homeland Security Committee Chairman Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) Sunday during a Tea Party Patriots national conference call told grassroots leaders nationwide that the “biggest threat” to national security is a general unwillingness to acknowledge dangers right in front of our noses – especially when it comes to our electrical grid. “We have our heads buried so far – I’ll say – in the sand in terms of our critical infrastructure, particularly our electrical grid,” he says. The threats to our critical infrastructure include EMPs; geomagnetic disturbances; and cyber attacks that could potentially shut down our electrical ...

Obamacare enrollee: “It’s going to be a monopoly, basically: ‘Here’s the price; take it or leave it’”

The Wall Street Journal recently published a story highlighting the departure of health-insurance companies from the imploding Obamacare marketplace. This to the detriment of the Obamacare-marketplace enrollees left behind in rural areas who – in many cases – have only a single option for their health-insurance carrier. Breitbart has the details: “The entire states of Alaska and Alabama are expected to have only one insurer on the health law’s signature online marketplaces next year, according to state regulators,” writes the Journal. “The same is expected to be true in parts of several other states, including Kentucky, Tennessee, ...

Tea Party Patriots React to House Judiciary Committee Calling Hearings to Examine Misconduct of IRS Commissioner

ATLANTA, Ga – Tea Party Patriots co-founder and CEO Jenny Beth Martin released the following statement today reacting to news the House Judiciary Committee will hold hearings to examine the misconduct of IRS Commissioner John Koskinen.   “On behalf of the Tea Party Patriots, which was targeted by Internal Revenue Service (IRS) agents and has long called for the impeachment of IRS Commissioner John Koskinen, we applaud the House Judiciary Committee for calling hearings into his misconduct but that is the least it could do. Both House and Senate committees investigated the targeting of Americans by the IRS, an issue that hits very close ...

PBS’ Charlie Rose, Obama speechwriters laugh hysterically over “If you like your insurance, you can keep it” line

PBS’ Charlie Rose got chummy with former speechwriters under Obama David Litt, Jon Favreau and Jon Lovett to gush over their prosaic prowess and – apparently – make light of the infamous “If you like your healthcare plan, you can keep it” line that left millions of Americans betrayed by their commander in chief when that very promise turned out to be a falsehood. “Lovett wrote the line about, ‘If you like your insurance, you can keep it,’” Favreau said before the four men erupted in laughter. President Obama, according to the Washington Free Beacon, on 36 occasions said his signature health-insurance law would not force ...

California border-patrol agent: ‘We don’t know who we’re releasing’

A surge of Central American illegal-immigrant children and families, as well as nearly 500,000 visa overstays, is making some border-patrol agents question public safety. Why are they concerned? Because there is so great a backlog of illegal immigrants that it’s making it difficult for officials to conduct timely background checks on everyone that comes through the system. Fox News has the story: "We don't know who we're releasing and we don't know what they're capable of," said Shawn Moran, a Border Patrol agent in California and a member of the union. Fellow agent and union representative Art Del Cueto echoed, "You can't find out if they've ...
