Students at Tigard High School, along with several other schools, walked out of class Wednesday morning in support of the national Stand for the Second walkout. Stand for the Second is a “student-led, student-driven movement” at high schools across the country to support gun rights. At 9:55 a.m., up to 100 students gathered outside of the school with a few students carrying flags across the parking lot. They stayed outside for 16 minutes.
