Jenny Beth’s Journal: If Congress seeks to repair Obama’s ‘broken windows’, they must pursue FISA abuse scandal

One of the highest priorities in year 1 of the Trump Administration has been to enforce our laws, after years of ignoring politically inconvenient ones under former President Obama. In her latest column, Jenny Beth sees similarities between the alleged misdeeds of federal law enforcement officials investigating President Trump and the experience of Tea Party Patriots and other conservative groups who were targeted by former President Obama’s IRS for their political beliefs. The Washington Times has the details: It began early, when Mr. Obama ordered his administrat...

The Border States of America

Eyeglasses with newspaper and coffee cup
by Jenny Beth Martin The Rio Grande Valley in Texas is the breach point for the largest invasion of American territory since the British occupied and burned Washington, DC during the War of 1812. I saw the effects of this invasion for myself earlier this year, spending time talking to local sheriffs and residents, hearing directly from those on the front lines, and learning first-hand about the problems on the southern border. Local residents talk about the flood of illegal immigrants pouring into their cities over the last two years and how crimes against persons and ...
