Barack Obama: Worse than Jimmy Carter
The people have spoken! A new Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday shows a plurality of Americans (33 percent) believe Barack Obama is the worst president since World War II. Oh how the mighty have fallen?
Former President George W. Bush came in second with 28 percent believe he’s the worst president, while Richard Nixon came in a distant third at 13 percent.
The Quinnipiac poll, it should be pointed out, just reaffirms recent downward trends in President Obama’s approval rating. While we certainly agree with the poll’s outcome, we’re not surprised the rest of America is catching on. Right now, the White House is embroiled in several scandals it refuses to take responsibility for.
The Obama Administration refuses to take responsibility and appoint a special prosecutor to investigate the IRS targeting. Yet Americans are supposed to believe they take the issue seriously?
The Obama Administration repeatedly dismisses questions over the Benghazi attack and even covered up important evidence. Americans don’t want talking points; they want the truth.
The Obama Administration oversaw a Veterans Administration that tolerated waste and inefficiency at the expense of the well-being of thousands of vets. Veterans are dying while waiting for Obama to get his VA working like it’s supposed to. Americans know they deserve better.
The Obama Administration pushed through a health care reform law that is only contributing to more headaches, higher prices, and worse coverage. Americans are tired of Obamacare.
The Obama Administration took a lax approach to border security and now tens of thousands of illegal immigrants are streaming into the U.S. Americans are wondering: if the president won’t even secure our borders, what else will he not protect?
We could go on.
The “hope and change” mantra is dead. Obama’s policies are breeding dissatisfaction all across this country. A simple sweep of a pen on an executive order will do nothing to change that.
