Remember when President Obama gloated that he had a “pen and a phone” and would circumvent Congress to grant amnesty to illegal immigrants who had arrived in the United States as minors? Even with the chaos on the border today, President Biden has decided to continue this illegal and unconstitutional program.

We have the chance to make our voices heard by filling out a simple form. We must make sure the Biden Administration hears from us!

Out-of-Control Spending Cannot Continue

For those who would like to keep track, the Democrats have had sole control of Washington, DC for just over eight months, and in that time, they have proposed spending roughly $11 trillion. This is an unprecedented level of spending – and it must stop.

In March, the Democrats passed the $1.9 trillion bailout for their preferred blue states and then came the $1 trillion infrastructure bill. Now we have the reconciliation bill, which Speaker Pelosi continues to say is $3.5 trillion. In reality, the bill comes in around $5 trillion or $5.5 trillion, according to the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget. All of this spending is on top of the $6 trillion budget for fiscal year 2022.

This is madness.

What’s even more maddening is that the Democrats have attempted to foist this new spending on us with almost zero consultation with Republicans in Congress.

The Democrats thought they could get away with this partisan spending blowout and then convince the Republicans to go along for the ride and vote for a rise in the debt ceiling.

It’s time for us to send a loud and clear message to the Republicans in Congress: Do NOT accommodate the Democrats’ reckless spending. Hold firm. Do not vote to raise the debt ceiling.

Please call your two U.S. Senators today and urge them to stop the reckless spending. If calling a Republican office, encourage the Senator to hold firm and not give in to the Democrats’ demands. If calling a Democrat’s office, please remind your Senator that it is immoral to saddle future generations with today’s out-of-control spending.

The Senate is in session this week, and they need to hear from us!
