Atlanta, GA – Tea Party Patriots President and co-founder Jenny Beth Martin released the following statement today, praising the White House’s choice of former Rep. Scott Garrett to be the next head of the Ex-Im Bank.
“Scott Garrett served in Congress as a strong constitutional conservative for more than a decade. He was one of the first to raise concerns about crony capitalism at the Export-Import Bank. We are confident that he will address those concerns in his new capacity. America’s taxpayers and businesses will be better off with him at the helm of the bank to ensure it fulfills its mission properly.”
