Tea Party Patriots Co-Founder Jenny Beth Martin in her latest columns calls on members of the Senate to confirm President-elect Donald Trump’s Attorney-General-In-Waiting Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.).

The Washington Times has the commentary:

As Attorney General, Jeff Sessions will, contrary to the actions of his immediate predecessors, uphold and enforce the laws on the books, and defend the Constitution.

And that’s exactly what we want and what we need in an Attorney General — especially after eight years of a lawless administration.

Nevertheless, leading Senate Democrats are determined to defeat (or, more likely, simply delay) Sessions’ confirmation.

Sen. Sessions’ record is exemplary, and members of the Senate should be proud to cast a vote to confirm someone who takes seriously the rule of law and who has gone above and beyond to ensure equal justice under the law.
