As part of the 9-12 Project, The Lehigh Valley Tea Party is rather unique in that we base our activities on the 9 Principles and 12 Values. Amongst these are a belief in God, the right to life, liberty and the pursuit (not guarantee) of happiness, the understanding that the government works for us, honesty, thrift, voluntary charity, hard work, and personal responsibility. As many of you already know by now, there is absolutely no law stating one must pay an income tax. While "voluntarily" paying taxes may be a good idea, the people must gain a great deal more control of tax revenue use, on both the Federal and local levels. The proposition, is that Americans be able to have complete transparency in budget proposals, and actually be able to vote DIRECTLY on what is important to us, and what must be passed over, (with exception to crucial services). This would eliminate waste, big government, shady politics, a great deal of corporate influence, and make politicians go back to what they are supposed to be doing.... getting their hands out of the cash register, and serving OUR interests.

Greenwich is a small town in southern New Jersey that has been granted the distinction of being one of the five "original" tea-party towns in America from the 1700's. The others were Boston, Princeton, Annapolis and Charleston. (Greenwich being the last). How proud to have such an historic event right here in our own backyard. 1774 Tea Party Patriots fought for independence. 2010 Tea Party Patriots fight to keep it! We believe in defending The Declaration of Independence, The Constitution of the United States and The Bill of Rights. We believe that knowledge and information is paramount in order to maintain our liberty and freedom.

Greater Trenton Tea Party, Inc. is a non-partisan, grassroots community established to advance and strengthen the Founding principle that life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are God-given rights guaranteed to every individual by the Constitutions of the United States and New jersey. We believe that government derives its power from the people and is established solely to protect these rights. The core principles of limited government, fiscal restraint, personal responsibility, and governing with virtue and accountability are all necessary to ensure the preservation of our freedom. We believe that local governments, communities, and individuals are best suited to serve and represent the needs of the people.Most importantly, we believe that citizen participation in the political process is a fundamental necessity for good government.

Orange-Sullivan Tea Party is a diverse group of citizens of the Hudson Valley Region, whose purpose is threefold. First, we seek to bring AWARENESS to the community through protest/rallies and community events. Second, we provide a welcoming place to EDUCATE those in our communities about the role of government and our responsibility as citizens to participate. We will do this through our monthly meetings, special speakers and seminars, and right now, through our candidate forums. Third, we promote ACTIVISM. We realize that the 9-12/Tea Party movement will falter without grassroots activity at the local level. We also realize that with real passion for America and committed activism the movement will continue to be a strong force for a return to constitutional principles. Orange-Sullivan Tea Party has proven to be an active voice in the community and state encouraging responsible leadership and citizenship through active engagement in the political process. Every year is a new election year with new candidates vying for local, state, and federal positions. These candidates are seeking the job of representing THE PEOPLE. As an act of good citizenship, THE PEOPLE must properly vet candidates and inform voters. In this way, we effect real reform.

•We are united in the belief that the Constitution of the United States was created by the founding fathers, not to enumerate the rights of its citizens but to define the limitations of the federal government's power. •We further believe that the Bill of Rights was written not merely to declare those inalienable rights to which all of its citizens are entitled but also to emphasize those boundaries to which this government must confine its powers and under no circumstance ever exceed. •We believe that the powers of Congress, as established by the Constitution of the United States is prohibited from intruding upon the private lives of its citizen as regards, but is not inclusive to, matters of free choice pertaining to health, education, housing, energy, private enterprise and all others concerns not specifically empowered to Congress by the Constitution of the United States. •It is the goal of this freely formed citizen's group to have our voices heard by our elected representatives, whether they are Republican, Democrat, Liberal or Conservative. We want our liberties returned to us.

Classic Tea Party group

We are the Western New York, Buffalo area tea party group. In 2009, we coordinated and held the tax day tea party and the July 4 tea party in Buffalo. We worked to bring together all reform minded people and groups in the Western New York area, believing that the tea party movement is about we the people and not about individuals, and that ALL voices must be heard. We welcome all who wish to speak up and speak out about the need for reform in America to contact us and to participate in our tea parties and other events in the Western New York area. We have some exciting events planned for 2010 and if you would like to keep informed, please feel free to join us on ReformNYS. ReformNYS is the main forum through which we the people communicate, express our opinions, and debate the issues.
