The Elk County Tea Party Chapter is a nonpartisan group, dedicated to individual freedoms and liberties. The group defends and upholds an individuals Right to Life, Liberty, And the Pursuit of Happiness, and that these are unalienable Rights endowed by our Creator. Furthermore, the Elk County Tea Party Chapter believes, that individual freedoms and liberties can only be sustained by individual responsibility.

The Williamsport Tea Party exists to promote the restoration of ethical and fiscal integrity to our government. We speak out against the rapid and unconstitutional expansion in federal government, including such things as; higher taxes, irresponsible spending and other intrusive government practices, which threaten our free market system and the American dream for generations to come. The Williamsport Tea Party includes Americans from all different ethnicities, classes and political backgrounds. We’ve come together for one common purpose – to help restore responsibility to our government.

The Lehigh Valley Project 9-12/Tea Party Group is a non-profit, non-partisan, pro-active organization, dedicated to the education of our members and citizens about constitutionally limited government and many of the important issues of the day including taxes/spending/debt, healthcare reform, illegal immigration, the Second Amendment, energy policy and more. Our mission, through community education and public activism, is to restore America through the preservation of unalienable Individual Rights as established by the Declaration of Independence, thereby returning government to the limits placed on it by the Constitutions of the United States and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. As part of the 9-12 Project, The Lehigh Valley Tea Party is rather unique in that we base our activities on the 9 Principles and 12 Values. Though belief in all of these principles is not required for membership, conviction in at least seven of them provides enough commonality for us to rally behind the cause.

The purpose of this group is to raise the consciousness of the people of Dutchess County as to our Constitutional Crisis and offer a solution through education and activism. Thomas Jefferson said: How can a people who have struggled long years under oppression throw off their oppressors and establish a free society? The problems are immense, but their solution lies in the education and enlightenment of the people and the emergence of a spirit that will serve as a foundation for independence and self-government.
