The mission of the Pickens County Tea Party is to educate, inform and motivate to action the citizens of Pickens County who share the same core values of belief in GOD, fiscal responsibility, limited government and free markets(the values upon which this nation was founded). We demand that the bills and any and all amendments be made available on-line for at least 72 hours before a vote is taken. -Does not believe that Obama\'s appointed czars has any place in our government. We demand they be immediately stripped of any and all authority! - Believe in the protection and preservation of human life. - Demand that government not interfere with its citizens desire to prosper and that they not limit, in any way, that prosperity. - Will not accept the rampant corruption that has eroded the American way of life. We are demanding investigation Sallie Mae, Freddie Mac, the Federal Reserve and ACORN. - Do not want any government bailouts or stimulus plans. - Want government to get out of our homes, get out of our way, and get out of our pockets!

Local Tea Party group in Acworth, GA. I will start this local Party by hosting a house Party for 8/12. I will invite my neighbors and friends and if I fill my house I will move it to another location. Fortunately we have various centers around town that are free to use for group meetings. After that I will have monthly meetings if I can establish a group that is willing to meet monthly.
