“There will be blood,” angrily threatened State Representative Douglas Geiss openly from the floor of the Michigan House of Representatives on Tuesday, according to Fox News. His frustration in the chamber was shouted out by thousands of organized labor supporters who rallied outdoors in the state capitol in opposition to ‘Michigan’s Right to Work’ law. The legislation was signed into law by Republican Gov. Rick Snyder late Tuesday afternoon. Is union tyranny over?

I thought ”Freedom of Choice” was a Progressive mantra? free to choose union dues or no union dues?
Kevin, look for the same response in Michigan as was had in Wisconsin. I personally don’t think the Unions should be done away with, but I DO Believe they need a comprehensive check and balance system to keep them from the excesses like the ones recently with the Hostess Company, The Awrey Bakery, the recorded violence in Lansing where they believe that Freedom of choice is only valid if it’s there choice. Our Government needs to revamp it’s check and balance system too. Especially with what is happening in Washington daily from the Administration and it’s crony’s in Congress and the Supreme Court.
the Unions will probably trash the capitol building again, just like Wisconsin two years ago. Who remembers them that repaired the 1.2 million dollars of damage? That is what needs to be reminded of, but of course the media never will point out bit of information.
