Team, I’ve recently joined several of the groups here in the Dayton area but they seem to not be active – I’ve posted messages to their boards but haven’t received any replies. I want to be involved, I want to make a difference, but we seem to be in a state of disarray and to have lost the momentum we had a few years ago. A little about me: I have never been active in politics or activism but want to make a difference. I’ve been active duty and serving proudly for 21+ years and thought that was enough to make my voice heard – I was wrong. I am willing to host a meeting, attend a rally, stuff envelopes – no job is too small. What do you suggest I do? How can I help? Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. To be honest I don’t know enough to comment either way but it does seem like the momentum is gone. I hope we can change that. I’m going to do my part here and hope for the best. Best of luck.
