Our founding fathers were very knowledgeable individuals. They were keenly aware of the causes of the failures of past republics and left us a roadmap not only in the Constitution but also in their public and private writings so as to prevent us from making the same mistakes of the past and guide us along the correct course toward an improved form of republican government. We, so far, have failed. Our citizenry has become ignorant and lazy. Our government has become corrupt and arrogant. Jefferson\'s prophetic \"convulsion\" seems to be drawing near [see Jefferson\'s Notes on the State of Virginia-Query XVII] It is time for a change and the only way to do so is through an enlightened citizenry willing to stand together to correct our course not for our sake but, as our founders always kept sight of, for the future. This is a tea party coalition group of the Tea Party Patriots. Gregg Cummings, Marcia Hora and Ryan Rhodes are co-state coordinators for the state of Iowa. If your an Iowa group and a member of the Tea Party Patriots then you are a part of the Tea Party Patriots Iowa group. There is an Iowa Grassroots Coalition of which Gregg is a coordinating member of is not this same group, however, we encourage both IAGRC groups and IowaTPP groups to share memberships with both groups. We all work on the same page of perspectives and goals to win back our country. We also ask that each of you ask your members to also join the Tea Party Patriots website as important information and resources are available for all to be involved in.
