A group where we stand up to the tyranny that is happening this moment in our country. The liberal socialists think that there is no one in their way from socializing America and making it the next France. We must make a stand join me in doing so and we soon shall be the most influential Tea Party group ever and more shall follow us.

We have taken a oath to “support and defend the Constitution of the Unites States against all enemies foreign and domestic…” We have done so around the world… From the jungle of Vietnam to alleys on Fallujah… and now its time we stand up on the very soil we defended to preserve common sense conservatism and defend our Constitution that is threatened by a tyrannical government. For all those that are serving or served and their family members.

We are a large coalition of tea party groups that are making a difference in our Golden State. Brad Roltgen and Dawn Wildman are the State Coordinators for Tea Party Patriots and they help facilitate this coalition.

AT THE CLOSE OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION, a woman asked Benjamin Franklin what type of government the Constitution was bringing into existence. Franklin replied, “A republic, if you can keep it.” WE THE PEOPLE of the Riverside Tea Party Patriots, are a nonpartisan, grassroots group of patriotic American citizens concerned about the welfare and future of the great Republic our Founding Fathers created and scores of Americans sacrificed, fought and died for, protecting and defending it for us and future generations. Therefore we are pledged to: 1.) Educate ourselves and become knowledgeable about the Constitution of the United States and the Republic our Founding Fathers intended so we can teach others. 2.) Preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic. 3.) Work to minimize government and promote fiscal responsibility. 4.) Protect, preserve, and expand the People's (Proposition) Initiative Process. 5.) Identify, research, and advocate solutions to political/government problems. 6.) Make all government transparent and accountable to the people. 7.) Promote the enactment the 28th Amendment: Congress shall pass no law that doesn't apply equally to them. 8.) Remain a government watchdog. 9.) Enjoy the greater liberty, more freedom, and the pursuit of happiness! The mission of the Lapeer County Tea Party Patriots is to engage citizens and provide avenues for participation in the political process. Our goals are to prevent wasteful spending of tax dollars, to reduce the size of government and its bureaucracies, and to hold accountable those we elect to represent us.
