And couple of days ago Lockheed Martin caved to pressure from the White House by agreeing not to send layoff notices, a consequence of the upcoming sequestration, to its employees. Of course this is a political move by the tyrant administration, and it is illegal for LM to not issue the notices that layoffs may happen. Should said layoffs occur, then LM will be guilty for failure to notify its employees and will face the possibility of lawsuits. The White House has told LM not to worry – any costs resulting from such lawsuits will be covered. Oh yeah! Covered by whom? You guessed it, we the taxpayers will pay. I phoned LM’s media department to express my displeasure and I recommend that you do the same.
