This very well could be the case. They could of been super conservative up to a point until it affected their own constituents and then would not budge. The word conservative is so general it is like black and white. We have to get smarter than this. Obviously they presented a roadblock to success. Specifically why is the question and it is not just conservative or not. Did these guys say why they were removed other than the word conservative? If not my court says they deserved to be removed by default. Crying and saying I was a conservative does not a defense in my book. Did Obama win over Romney because some thought Romney was not conservative enough or did not quote the constitution enough? I hope not.

Thanks for the response. I listened it to it. It is exactly my point spewing the word conservative, conservatism or some form or fashion of it. There were some words of voting for his constituents shouldn’t be considered wrong (depends on who his constituents are). First I don’t think he was referring to conservatists as his constituents. Constituents is like conservative it can be expanded or contracted into many directions. Lets take the case big money agricultural constituents receiving entitlements. I think people need to see through the rhetoric. Most politicians speak like we are all stupid. In my opinion this guy looked weak and refused to talk real issues. I give everyone the chance to use the word conservative in there speech but the majority must be based on facts and figures. After the first few times I just want to shove a sock in their mouth. My opinion he was probably thrown off for not having any ideas, solutions and he stuck with a few high dollar constituent interests essentially a roadblock to success. Of course dealing with anyone else but his constituents he probably was real conservative saving all the money for his.
And Boehner gave him an extra vote. Yes he is purging the conservatives from committees. The process has begun as expected. One would believe that he may have been bought off.

but he needs 16 votes to remove him as speaker…. i hope there is enough that will see the back room meetings obo and vote him out
I beginning to fear this word conservatives because it is all blinding for some. We need to look much deeper into voting records and backgrounds. I fear we are focusing on those using the word like a pass key and not seeing any real contribution in the form of ideas with feasible solutions. Lets take all those who claim to be conservatives and see if their own constituents are protected from their conservative perspective. If every state has the same then it is one big road block to success. Budget 18% of GDP as as start. Eliminate bureaucracies and or cut wages to get it. They have enough money coming in they don’t need anymore.
