The Lone Star Tea Party is a non-partisan tea party coalition that's fed up with the direction this country is headed, wants to preserve the U.S. Constitution and limit the government to the powers granted therein. The Mason Tea Party mission is to inform, educate and activate; to encourage the return of the government to the ideals of the Founders defined in the Constitution of the United States. The Mason Tea Party is non-partisan, advocate limited government, fiscal responsibility, free market, and dedicate our mission to these principles. The Mason Tea Party began on May 28, 2010. We filed with the Texas Secretary of State and received our non-profit status. We are young and growing. Our first meeting drew almost 100 people in this small town of 2000 population.

We are a group of Americans who believe our country has taken a wrong turn toward socialism and that we must get our country back to our Constitution. If you live in the McAllen area of the Rio Grande Valley of south Texas, we invite you to join us!

The mission of MCTP is to organize, educate present and future generations, inform, and elect our fellow citizens for the purpose of securing public policy consistent with our Core Values. We will promote our Core Values in the hearts and minds of our members, elected officals and fellow citizens. We will support candidates at the local, state and federal levels who espouse our Core Values. We will monitor the actions of our elected officals for consistency with our Core Values and will take action to influence them should they deviate from our Core Values. Group evolved from organizing July 4th Tea Party.Hosted Town Hall Forum on Government Run Health Care on August 7th and had almost 700 attend. Our mission is to get people informed, involved and inspired to save our country. Our veterans fought for freedom, not socialism.
