We are a non-profit grass root effort brought together to bring attention to government policy that does not support constitutional rights, enlarges government growth over a free market system and increases spending and taxation beyond what we view is viable by the public. We will rally our members and the general public to peacefully voice opposition to such governmental policies and educate our youth on the constitution and government. We would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver to you or your organization a voice for legislative reform.

We firmly believe in the the concepts of limited government, fiscal responsibility and free markets. We see government at all levels grown too big, too intrusive and too expensive. Our task is easily defined; rationalize the role of government by firing those who've built the overbearing interlocking layers of stifling regulation; but it is not easily accomplished. The Lake Fork Tea Party Patriots is made up of concerned citizens in the Lake Fork area of Rains County Texas. The surrounding towns include Emory, Alba, and Yantis, Texas. The Lake Fork Tea Party Patriots formed largely in response to the out-of-control spending in Washington and due to the arrogance of Washington ignoring the will of the people and passing legislation that the majority of Americans did not support. Our voices will be heard in Washington.

The Founders of the Lamar County TEA Party were originally members of the executive committee of the Paris T.E.A. Party group headed by Janet Post from the spring of 2010 until October of 2010. During the campaign season leading up to the midterm elections of 2010, Ms. Post chose to participate in a radio ad where she invoked the TEA Party's name as she endorsed the candidate which the Paris TEA Party's executive committee did not agree to endorse. As a result, every member of the executive committee promptly resigned and individually endorsed who they considered to be the more conservative candidate, Erwin Cain. The members of the executive committee then started the process of forming the Lamar County T.E.A. Party.

Small Business and Private Corporation owners, Former Military and Good Law Abiding Citizens whom want a Less Intrusive, No womb to the Tomb Entitlement, Government. Americans that believe in the Small Constitutional Government, Self Reliance, Independent, Personally Responsible, Educated and Morally Religious Individuals that the Greatest Nation on Earth was Founded upon.
