Conservative/Libertarian group that hunts down RINOS,(Republican in name only), and tags them for removal from office. It does no good to have a Republican majority if they vote like liberals!

I am staring this group to establish and maintain a local Tea Party group. I am calling all citizens who are concerned about our current political situation to stand up and be counted. Please contact me at truefaith@jesusanswers.com we need to establish a board and solicate volunteers.

Our mission is to hold all elected government officials accountable to the people; to demand from them a strong moral character, and a commitment to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America; and to do so with a limited government that promotes a free market society, through which all Americans will posses every opportunity to succeed in their quest for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

This is the Tea Party movement for Spartanburg County. Where you can get the inside scoop on ALL candidates because we know you are here because you are smart enough to figure it out if someone will just present it fairly. Endorsements are NOT FOR SALE here – candidates need not apply for them! Now, about you: It is not up to us to spoon-feed you and tell you what to do and who to support. You have an obligation, as a citizen of this country and this state to do your due diligence in pursuit of the truth before you cast your vote. If you have the time and energy after digging through all the political mud, then work with the candidate who best represents you and help them get elected. All levels of help and donations are helpful. Don’t ever think your $5 or $10 doesn’t matter because it really does. Don’t think only one or two afternoons canvassing neighborhoods to pass out materials doesn’t really help, because it does. Don’t think that just placing a sign on your front lawn is no big deal, because it is. It is time to get motivated and transform this Tea Party Movement into Tea Party Action!!

At this group's first meeting in July 2009, nearly 100 people were in attendance. The group plans to meet monthly, form committees that will become in many aspects of local and national issues, send out speakers to civic and social groups, and contact legislators across the country on a variety of concerns.

I am a wife and mother who is very upset about what is going on in OUR White House. I need help to organize this group and plan meetings. I do not think that we are doing enough and this is an effort on my part to try something! Sumter needs a group! So far, we have about 75 people in two groups that we are merging into one group.

We are a proactive group with a growing membership. We welcome all americans who are concerned about the trampling of our Constitution and the bill of rights by big government on both sides of the political isle.

Economic Freedom: Free enterprise and equal opportunity. Social Security Reform -- to achieve financial independence, not dependence. Profit as an economic incentive Traditional values: Family as the basic building block of society. Sanctity of life. Religious liberty, not restraint of religious speech. We are formed to counter the attacks of anti-conservative groups on patriotic candidates as well as attacks on the important issues of our day – those that affect the core of our society: the family, marriage, the economy, energy, abortion, health care and foreign policy, to name just a few. We also work to keep our constituents and the media informed about what our founding fathers’ intentions were and how history shapes laws and our culture today. Through seminars, workshops, ad campaigns, leadership and grassroots training and educational materials, strives to motivate, activate and educate those who are interested in keeping America the great nation it has always been.
