We are a local Tea Party Patriots group located in Western Pennsylvania. We follow the same philosophy as our parent group the Tea Party Patriots,Inc. Tea Party Patriots, Inc. as an organization believes in the Fiscal Responsibility, Constitutionally Limited Government, and Free Markets. Tea Party Patriots, Inc. is a non-partisan grassroots organization of individuals united by our core values derived from the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States of America, the Bill Of Rights as explained in the Federalist Papers. We recognize and support the strength of grassroots organization powered by activism and civic responsibility at a local level. We hold that the United States is a republic conceived by its architects as a nation whose people were granted "unalienable rights" by our Creator. Chiefly among these are the rights to "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." The Tea Party Patriots stand with our founders, as heirs to the republic, to claim our rights and duties which preserve their legacy and our own. We hold, as did the founders, that there exists an inherent benefit to our country when private property and prosperity are secured by natural law and the rights of the individual.

Preserving the Constitution and the Founders principles on a local level

The group meets the first Friday of every month (unless otherwise noted) at the Chrin Community Center, 4100 Green Pond Road, Palmer, PA 18045 at 7 p.m. Our website address is www.lvtp.org The mission of the LVTP is to educate our members and the Lehigh Valley community about our unalienable individual rights and limited government as defined by the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution so that they become involved in their government for the purpose of protecting and defending these rights. The Lehigh Valley Project 9-12/Tea Party Group is a non-profit, non-partisan, pro-active organization, dedicated to the education of our members and citizens about constitutionally limited government and many of the important issues of the day including taxes/spending/debt, healthcare reform, illegal immigration, the Second Amendment, energy policy and more. Our mission, through community education and public activism, is to restore America through the preservation of unalienable Individual Rights as established by the Declaration of Independence, thereby returning government to the limits placed on it by the Constitutions of the United States and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. As part of the 9-12 Project, The Lehigh Valley Tea Party is rather unique in that we base our activities on the 9 Principles and 12 Values. Amongst these are a belief in God, the right to life, liberty and the pursuit (not guarantee) of happiness, the understanding that the government works for us, honesty, thrift, voluntary charity, hard work, and personal responsibility. Though belief in all of these principles is not required for membership, conviction in at least seven of them provides enough commonality for us to rally behind the cause.

The mission of the Luzerne County Campaign for Liberty group is to promote and defend the great American principles of individual liberty, constitutional government, sound money, free markets, and a non-interventionist foreign policy, by means of education, political action, and elections throughout northeast PA.

As members of this non-partisan organization, we stand against big government, open borders, amnesty, dependence of foregin energy sources, on demand abortions and gun control. We pledge to do our best to educate and motivate in order to stop the march of socialism, so that we may pass on to future generations the unalienable rights, of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Policy on Politics We believe in voting not violence or intimidation. We believe in peaceful TEA PARTIES and intelligent dialogue not hateful rhetoric. We believe in voting the incumbents out of office. With a 98% re-election rate, there is very little hope of putting the “Good Ole Boys” out to pasture. We will, in almost all cases, vote against some career politician. In very rare cases will we endorse candidates. We cannot foresee ever endorsing any political party.
