Northern Indiana Patriots offers concerned citizens the opportunity to make a difference regarding political issues which impact the future of our community, city, state and country. We believe in an informed and educated populace with knowledge allowing us take action in safeguarding our republic. We believe in the return to a government which embraces the ideals of the Founders as defined in the Constitution of the United States. Northern Indiana Patriots is non-partisan, advocates limited government, fiscal responsibility, free market, and dedicate our mission to these principles.

Not party affiliated we are Americans standing shoulder to shoulder protecting our Constitutional Republic and defending our freedoms. We believe the statement of George Nicholas, that "An enlightened people will never suffer what was established for their security to be perverted to an act of tyranny." This venue is for all those wanting to protect liberty, to encourage activism, to educate in truth, and to empower the American citizens. The mission of the Owen County Tea Party is to organize a nonpartisan grass roots group of people that want to get involved and be informed of what our political candidates stand for and as group let our elected officials (who work for us) know what we want them to do. The number one goal of the Owen County Tea Party is to reclaim our heritage and responsibilities as citizens and re-institute the limits of the United States Constitution thus limiting the size and cost of government. The Owen County Tea Party is not aligned with any political party and is funded (entirely) by donations of time effort and money by citizens who want to restore the freedoms and individual responsibilities as provided for in the Constitution.

Update....Group formed in 2009 continues to work towards the mission of fiscal responsibility, limited government and accountable representation. Now have 189 members on email. Meet twice a month, first and third Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. at Moose Lodge on North Middle School Road in Winchester. We are a very active group and are currently working on a Get Out The Vote project.

There is now a group for this area. So far, consists of two but that is how things get started.

It is time to get involved and take action to preserve our Constitution and protect our personal liberties. We believe in constitutionally limited government, fiscal responsibility and free market economics. Please join us as we focus on the issues we will be actively engaged in during 2013: Agenda 21, Constitutional training, Election/voter integrity in St. Joseph County, County and local government affairs, Indiana state legislative issues, national legislative issues, 2nd amendment rights, and communicating a conservative message. We are a group dedicated to the education of our members, of increasing our membership and more importantly of selecting, vetting and endorsing the candidates for all office who will best represent our values and principles. We believe that education is wonderful, but if it isn't accompanied by action it is nullified.

Tea Party Movement

Mission: We seek to secure the blessing of liberty for ourselves and our children through events, education and legislative efforts that seek to preserve our Constitution. Purpose: Locally - to build relationships with all organizations and political Parties that desire to preserve and respect the ideals of the Founders of our Constitution Regionally - to unify a political base in Northeast IN with the result of having unified statewide leaders and goals Nationally - to unify national groups in order to impact Washington D.C. Cultural Impact: We desire to strengthen the Republic by identifying, evaluating and supporting relationships with conservative leaders and impacting our culture with a Biblical worldview. We currently meet the 2nd Tuesday of every month at the Classic Cafe, Hillegas Road in Fort Wayne at 7:00pm

We need help mainly with the legal structure of our group. We want to try and avoid as many start up problems as we can.
