The Conservatives of Columbia County will hold weekly meetings to discuss ways to promote our stated goal fostering fellowship among members while promoting Consitutional and conservative ideals. Events may include educational panels, assisting in voter registration and education, and campaigning for conservative candidates.

We are the Coweta County chapter of Tea Party Patriots. We meet the second Tuesday of every month. We support the core values and mission statement of the National Tea Party Patriot Organization. We invite anyone interested to come to one of our meetings to find out what we are all about. We are coming together to be educated on the candidates based on the Constitution so that we may take our country back. Also, we will have speakers that educate our group on the Constitution,the history of our country, and how our freedoms were won.

We are newly formed group who will be meeting the first Thurs. of each month at 6:00 PM. As a non-partisan group everyone is invited to join us. We are joining together to make our voices heard at the local, state and national levels of government. We believe that it is time to return to the the rights set forth in the Bill of Rights. We have been the silent majority for too long. We will be silent no more.

The Fayette County Tea Party is an organization of like-minded Fayette County citizens who value limited government, personal responsibility, and fiscal prudence. We have moved far beyond the meet, greet, & discussion activities that predominate some grass roots movements. Our members include former county commissioners & chairmen, county political party officers, former military officers, teachers, soccor moms, and others who are used to setting goals and working hard to achieve them. We are not special interests with speculative or investment holdings. We are involved with our communities, but do not sit on the boards of banks. We have roots in Fayette County and raise our families here. We do not expect perfection from elected officials, but we do not tolerate their deliberate mis-deeds. We attend & speak at County Commission and Board of Education meetings, submit open records requests, and write letters to the editor. A commissioner\'s criminal behavior spurred members to lodge a formal ethics complaint and file a recall campaign with the GA State Ethics Commission to remove him from office. This group is dedicated to individuals who have shed their patrician politics and have come to the realization that the federal system is inherently corrupt and beyond repair. It does not matter which party is in charge in Washington anymore. They've both become short sighted and base their every decision on obtaining and keeping power. They've changed "of the people, by the people, and for the people" into "of the party, by the party, and for the party." They refuse to work together for the common good of the country. We, the American people, need to rise up and let them know we're mad as hell and we're not going to take it anymore! They'd better start working together for us and they'd better do it fast!
