Our Founding Fathers instituted a Constitutional Government having its powers derived from the consent of the governed, we the people endeavor to organize and mobilize the Silent Majority to reclaim our rights as enumerated in the Constitution. Keeping in mind that the states and the people retain all functions that are not specifically delegated to the federal government. We here at North East Tennessee Tea Party are dedicated to the Preservation of "We Are Free People and a Free Nation." "OUR CORE PRINCIPLES" Freedom and Liberty To have Freedom and Liberty as our core principles, we must have: 1. Government by "We The People." 2. Principles above Parties. 3. Admittance to all who accepts our platform. These core principles will guide our decision making process to bring us back to a Constitutionally Sound Government.

Organized in May, 2009 with only three concerned citizens sharing our desire to "take back our country". Our first American Tea Party rally was June 27th with over two hundred in attendence. We have elected officers, organized committees, become incorporated, printed and distributed brochures that describe our goals. Our members have attented a TEA Party rally in Jackson, Tennessee; attended a Republican organizational meeting and assured the organizers that we are non or A political, not aligned with any party or political affiliation;attended a Town Hall meeting where Congressman Larmar Alaxender did not show, and a meeting where Congressman John Tanner did not show. We let the respective Field Representatives know our dissapointment and our anti support of the destructive health care plan known as HR3200. We have an American TEA Party Rally planed for September 12,

The Patriots of East Tennessee came together around one simple idea: supporting The United States of America based on 9 Principles and 12 Values. Glen Beck is responsible for the groups founding. He made a statement that "WE surround them". This fact is true. The Patriots of East Tennessee: Statement of purpose of our Group Network and act with like-minded people; following the 9.12 as a guide in how to conduct ourselves in achieving our goals. Goals: 1) Use our network to make contact with like minds, allowing us to gain knowledge and resources to affect our republic and one another 2) Promote and organize actions to bring information to more people 3) Act locally and influence nationally

We are a non-partisan group that supports a constitutional government as the best form of government. Such a government protects the individual rights and liberties of the citizens it serves. This would be defined as a society governed “by the people, for the people”. Our belief is that there should be a limited government. This is in direct contradiction to the bloated government we have today which continues to erode the civil liberties of its citizens in a steady and systematical way. This ever expanding behemoth was not what the founding father intended when penning the constitution. Therefore, it is our belief that we must regain control of government in order to restore our proud republic to the principles of liberty and freedom for all. It has become our mission to educate the public in matters pertaining to their government and other entities that would infringe on their rights. We feel that a non-violent revolution is necessary. There must be a revolution of knowledge and empowerment that will encourage individuals to commit to defend the liberties and freedoms we have long enjoyed. It is alarming to observe how far our government has deviated from the hopes and dreams of the founding fathers. The time has come for the people of this land to awaken to the reality of what is happening, and what already has been taken from them. We must speak up and demand an immediate return to our constitutional form of government. We welcome your comments and discussion as we grow as an organization that will make a difference in local and national politics.

We are a large group in Murfreesboro, TN that represents Rutherford County's liberty loving, limited government capitalists. We have been in existence since February 2010 and currently have over 700 members. "Study the Constitution. This is a new Tea Party group recently formed in Sevier County. Our June 5th kick off meeting was attended by about 70 people with only 1 day's notice in the local paper, so we're off to a good start. The next general meeting is scheduled for Thursday, July 8th at 6:30 pm. It will be held at the Thompson Carr meeting facility on Dolly Parton Parkway, across from Sevier County High School. We will be meeting at the Blount County Library in the Sharon Lawson Room on March 11. 2010 at 6:30PM. Please come and join us for a very informative meeting.

Sumner United for Responsible Government (Sumner United) is the official organization created by the citizen organizers of the first Sumner County Tea Party on April 15th where more than 2,000 people gathered to celebrate our individual liberties. And that was just the beginning. Sumner United is a grassroots organization of patriotic citizens committed to returning our government to its Constitutional bounds and making our elected representatives accountable to the will of the people, who are the sole source of our government's authority and existence. We will accomplish these tasks by recruiting more people to our cause and informing our representatives of our will with frequent activism in the form of education, protests, petitions, citizen-to-representative contacts, public forums, dedicated involvement in electing responsive and Constitution-abiding representatives, and other non-violent activities we find appropriate and necessary. We will also align with regional and national efforts and events.

We are a group of likeminded Patriots who are sick and tired of the way our country is being run into the ground. We can no longer watch the fiscal irresponsibility, endless spending and soaring taxes by our government. We as a group are stepping out of our comfort zones and not only talking about the issues but initiating the much needed changes! Join us, hang on for the ride, while we bring our run away government back into proper Constitutional alignment to we the people, by the people and for the people.

TN Sons of Liberty believe both parties are corrupt. We are a diverse group of political activists, scholars, and patriots. We host protests and educational groups in order to inspire Tennesseans to stand in support of a Constitutional Republic. We are peaceful, fair minded, and a fun crew to hang out with.
