I have done nothing. And for that I am ashamed. Every American, regardless of their background, has the right to live free of unwarranted government intrusion.

We are committed to the principles of individual freedom, limited government, and the free market.

We are a diverse group. Our theme song is, "We're Not Gonna Take It" (By Twisted Sister). We are sick and tired of not having our voices heard by our politicians. We believe that our representatives should represent! We believe it is time to remind our government they work for us!

It's always the small towns and communities that go underserved and that is why I am starting this group. This group is for the communities with less than 10,000 population in Northeastern Oklahoma. Muskogee north to Kansas border, east and south of Tulsa to the Missouri and Arkansas borders. To help educate the people of this town and motivate them to vote and donate their time to getting a good candidate elected to office.

The 912 project of Tulsa is a voluntary, non-partisan educational group of freely associating citizens promoting the principles of freedom that built and sustain America. Its purpose is to provide educational resources for learning and understanding the Constitution of the United States, increasing communication between citizens and their elected public servants, and preserving the Union of the Fifty States. Our objective is to take our Out-of-Control Government back to the American people! We do this thru Educated Activism. Education; so that we can talk with facts, conviction, and assertiveness to prospective members, the news media, our elected Representatives, and groups that may oppose our objectives. Activism; to make contact after contact after contact with our elected Representatives, insisting that their votes on key legislation MUST be for the benefit the people they work for, and not themselves or special interest groups.

TULSA TEA PARTY OFFICIAL MISSION STATEMENT: MISSION: We are a non-partisan, non-profit, issues based organization united by our shared core values to preserve the Constitutional Rights of WE THE PEOPLE of the United States of America, by limiting government; constraining government spending and taxation; and advancing a free market economy. OUR CORE VALUES -- WHAT WE STAND FOR: Limited Government – As our Founding Fathers recognized, restraint of government is necessary to protect the liberties of the people. Fiscal Responsibility – Government at all levels must learn to live within its means. To saddle future generations with the crushing burden of our excess spending is unconscionable. States' Rights – The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respective, or to the People. National Sovereignty – We must maintain a strong national defense, effective security for our borders, and sole control over our land and our laws. Personal Responsibility – Liberty is unsustainable without responsibility. Each citizen must take responsibility for the consequences of his or her own actions while respecting the rights and dignity of others. The Rule of Law – Consistent, independent and uniform application of the law is critical to a free and prosperous society. CODE OF CONDUCT -- WHAT WE WON'T STAND FOR: Personal Attacks – We’re debating positions and policies, not demonizing people or groups. Unfounded Rumors – The easily verifiable facts are bad enough. Don’t weaken our position by stretching the truth. We are sick of big government and the left wing running this country. It is time for people to get involved and take back this country. Putting people in office with good conservative views is what will get our country back on track.
