We are a non-partisan, conservative Tea Party organization. We stand for the Constitution, limited government, fiscal responsibility and free markets. We want to do our part to prevent the liberal progressives from turning our country into a socialist, communist third-world country.

Emailing back and forth among ourselves is nice, and often informative, but there is a serious need to be in the street making noise and raising awareness, so we can increase our numbers and be an effective force.

The impetus for the Tea Party movement is excessive government spending and taxation. Our mission is to attract, educate, organize, and mobilize our fellow Oxford Mississippi citizens to secure public policy consistent with our three core values of Fiscal Responsibility, Constitutionally Limited Government and Free Markets.

Webster County TEA Party is a thriving new group in Mississippi's 1st Congressional District. We're just over four months old and have experienced significant growth in the last two months. Our goals are to inform and educate the citizens of Webster County and call them to action to preserve our liberties and protect our republic.

Constitutional conservatives who believe that liberty and freedom are the greatest gifts given to us by God, and it is our duty to protect them. Also to make certain that the next generation has a better country and state than we have and to promote family, Christian values is a major goal. To this charge we pledge our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.
