We held our first meeting October 15th at the Perry County Fairgrounds with 50 people in attendance. We discussed our concerns for the nation.Wrote letters to our elected offical.Faxed those to TPP for October 19th. Started a petition to let our elected officials know that we want them to vote NO on this health care reform.

We endorse reduced government spending, oppose taxation in varying degrees, support reduction of the government debt and government budget deficit, and adhere to an original interpretation of the United States Constitution.

The Saline County Tea Party is a grassroots, non-partisan group opposed to wasteful government spending. Our core values are national defense, fiscal responsibility, limited government, and free markets. Our goals include influencing elections for the betterment of America, promoting State sovereignty (Federalism), compelling our elected officials to comply with the Constitution as written by our Founders and educating our Fellow Americans.

We seek to unit, inform, inspire and energize everyone that believes that our Country should remain the Free Enterprise (Entrepreneurial Spirit) capital of the world. While keeping GOD at the forefront of everything that we do for our fellow Americans, Country and World.

Washington County Tea Party is a non-profit grassroots organization formed to preserve, protect and defend the God-given rights of the people of the sovereign State of Arkansas; to limit state and federal government to the specific powers enumerated in their respective constitutions; to encourage and promote an informed and actively engaged citizenry; and to demand ethical, accountable representation of the people by their elected officials.
