We are a non-partisan/non-denominational group of citizens who are concerned about the direction of our country and are willing to get involved to help make a difference. At the origin of America, our Founding Fathers built this country on 28 powerful principles. These principles were gleaned from all over the world and from centuries of great thinkers. The original 28 principles have been summarized in our 9 basic principles and 12 values of “The 9-12 Project”. Our mission is to: 1) Unite and educate our citizens; 2) Support like-minded politicians; 3) Demand responsible government; 4) Defend the Constitution; and 5) Limit the role of government. We meet every other week (generally) to learn more about the Constitution, the intent of the Founding Fathers, and to make plans on how we can have a positive impact at local, state, and national levels.

This grass roots movement was organized in 2010 by two business owners in Magna (Noel Fields and Donnie Sweazey) and is not affiliated with any political party. The group comes together because many Magna citizens feel ignored by their local, state, and federal government representatives. The group meets twice a month, and each meeting has grown in attendance since inception. There are no membership fees, and every gathering is open to all citizens who want more of a voice in government. Our Mission Statement: We, Concerned Citizens of Magna, do hereby organize to chart our own course as a distinct community with planned growth and a voice in directing Magna's future. We are Magna's Local Tea Party

University of Utah students who want more than their major; an education in less government involvement and national debt. This is a group to first see who wants to participate and begin events on campus to spread awareness and education. Our primary concern lies in the unprecedented national debt and what can be done to diminish the debt we will have to deal with as a generation. Governmental spending is the most significant problem we will face. Secondary and more specific to governmental spending are the Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, Social Security and Healthcare. If you are interested, you need not be a student to join. Any participation large and small will be appreciated and worthwhile.

The STAR Forum is a group that advocates and educates in Constitutional Principles. STAR stands for Save The American Republic. This is a 9.12 group and we meet in many areas across the state. Our main group is in Summit County. We have many classes available. We are a part of Utah Rising coalition. Come join us in moving the cause of liberty. We are starting this group to get together a large group of like minded citizens who can meet together to bring to the forefront any new developments and discuss how we can either get behind them or confront them head on. We have been looking for sometime to find away we can make a difference in this turmoltuous time we live in. We want to make a positive difference in our community, our state and our country. We ar looking for people who can research issues, make phone calls, join and set up rallies, and any other ideas we can come up with as a group. Please join us as power is in numbers. There are several huge issues looming on the horizon that will require our immediate attention. We look forward to meeting with everyone and making a difference.
