ACT is a growing group of concerned citizens of Archuleta County Colorado, all believing in the Tea Party Patriots' Mission Statement, Core Values, and Philosophy.

The 912 Project was created by like-minded individuals who feel that the “Us versus Them” politics of the Two-Party System fails to serve the interests of the vast majority of Americans. As members of this group, we strive to live by virtuous principles and values as advocated by the Founding Fathers of the United States. Our allies are fact, reason and the US Constitution. We work toward a smaller more effective Federal Government, one that shuns the burdening of its citizens for the political gain of its stewards. We believe our country is sustainable only when its citizens are driven by personal responsibility, not entitlement. We have no selfish motives. We ask only that our elected public servants honestly, and earnestly, represent their constituencies over the special interest groups who might fill their campaign coffers. We ask our Federal Government to apply every law of the land, and do so fairly and equitably. We believe that our government at all levels must respect the boundaries set forth in the Constitution and be so limited by it. All proposed legislation and amendments must undergo thorough examination and the bear full burden of scrutiny, before being voted into law. We seek to show the citizens of the United States that our future liberty can never be guaranteed if we allow ourselves to be governed and manipulated by the elements of the radical left or the radical right. We believe that applying the “Golden Rule” and common sense, along with our 9 Principles and 12 Values is the best way to solve any problems we face. As we meet and discuss our plans and course for the future we hope for the best, but responsibly prepare for the worst.

We the People, of the 9-12 Project strive to unite as we did on September 12, 2001 bonded by faith in a higher power, spirit of brotherhood and courage that transcended all diversities. We seek this unity by aspiring to live by the 9 Principles and 12 Values and by embodying the spirit, ideals and intent of the Constitution. Our founding fathers stated that for the republic to survive the country required an educated electorate. So it is through educating ourselves, our children and fellow citizens on the Constitution and founding documents and by taking an active role in our Local, State and National Governments that we will be able to protect our freedoms and restore our Republic. Colorado Patriots is a Christian Tea Party. Our group embraces all..Democrat, Republican, Independents, Librarianship...AND ALL Faiths.Just understand, we put God first in all that we do. Our philosophy is to build a better community while working on state and national issues. We are training our members on community involvement and issues as presented through the county commission and city council. We are actively seeking qualified candidates for both. We are studying the effects of Progressive programs such as globalization and how to identify, expose and uproot such programs in our community. Local Tea Party for Elbert County, outide of Denver, Colorado

We are a statewide, permanent, non-partisan Tea Party activist group. We are not affiliated with any political party. We support the Constitution, private property, free markets and free speech. It will take more than periodic protests to turn back the tide of madness from Washington, it will take ongoing and dedicated effort! This group exists to build and sustain that effort. We are part of the statewide Colorado Tea Party. We are building local chapters in counties, home towns, and neighborhoods around the state. We are putting a grassroots organization in place for the long struggle ahead of us. If the Tea Party movement fragments into small groups working at cross-purposes, the powerful and well-funded anti-liberty political forces will continue to roll over us, continue to destroy this nation. On the other hand, if we work together, we can become a force to be reckoned with, we can turn back the tide of spending and power-grabbing, we can save our country. Let Freedom Ring!
