						<p><a href="http://www.teapartypatriots.org/members/granthelvey/" title="Grant  Helvey" rel="nofollow">Grant  Helvey</a> posted an update in the group <a href="http://www.teapartypatriots.org/groups/worcester-county-tea-party/" rel="nofollow">Worcester County Tea Party</a> The Worcester County Tea Party is celebrating the defeat of a state plan to force Maryland Counties to adopt a four tier zoning system to overlay existing county plans. The adoption of the zones robs individual property owners of the right to develop residential lots on septic systems.  Worcester county at the urging of Tea party members did not adopt the plan.  Other counties have adopted the plan which gives up local planning decisions to the state. For additional information contact Kellee Kennett on 443-614-7214. </p>
<p>The Worcester County Tea Party has formed a committee to fight Common Core from being implement in our school system.  Citizens are encouraged to seek out information on Common Core education and to oppose it wherever possible. For additional information contact Gwen Cordner on 410-430-3449. </p>
<p>Agenda 21 continues to be a major battle for the Worcester County Tea Party.  Former Chairman Grant Helvey is leading a group to Stop Agenda 21 in Maryland.
