Texas County Patriots

We are a Non-partisan Political Action Group willing to stand up for the promise of Government by “We the People”. Our primary beliefs are Government Fiscal Responsibility, Constitutionally Limited Federal Government with Missouri State Sovereignty, and the Free Market system. It is principles, not party, that are important for our nation. We abhor the wasteful spending of both Republicans and Democrats in recent years, and seek to replace those in office with citizens who will work to reduce Government spending and the scope of the Federal Government altogether. The Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States of America and the Bill Of Rights are the basis of our core values. It is our civic responsibility at the local level to inform all of our fellow citizens in our communities about the political views of incumbents and nominees for all offices as they pertain to our beliefs and values. As Thomas Jefferson said, “An enlightened citizenry is indispensable for the proper functioning of a republic.” We hold that the United States is a republic conceived by its architects as a nation whose people are granted “unalienable rights” by our Creator. Chiefly among these are the rights to “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” The following are a few quotes that I believe are still relevant today.
