Owen County Tea Party

Not party affiliated we are Americans standing shoulder to shoulder protecting our Constitutional Republic and defending our freedoms. We believe the statement of George Nicholas, that “An enlightened people will never suffer what was established for their security to be perverted to an act of tyranny.” This venue is for all those wanting to protect liberty, to encourage activism, to educate in truth, and to empower the American citizens.

The mission of the Owen County Tea Party is to organize a nonpartisan grass roots group of people that want to get involved and be informed of what our political candidates stand for and as group let our elected officials (who work for us) know what we want them to do.

The number one goal of the Owen County Tea Party is to reclaim our heritage and responsibilities as citizens and re-institute the limits of the United States Constitution thus limiting the size and cost of government.

The Owen County Tea Party is not aligned with any political party and is funded (entirely) by donations of time effort and money by citizens who want to restore the freedoms and individual responsibilities as provided for in the Constitution.
