Northeast Iowa Tea Party
Our founding fathers were very knowledgeable individuals. They were keenly aware of the causes of the failures of past republics and left us a roadmap not only in the Constitution but also in their public and private writings so as to prevent us from making the same mistakes of the past and guide us along the correct course toward an improved form of republican government.
We, so far, have failed. Our citizenry has become ignorant and lazy. Our government has become corrupt and arrogant. Jefferson’s prophetic “convulsion” seems to be drawing near [see Jefferson's Notes on the State of Virginia-Query XVII]
It is time for a change and the only way to do so is through an enlightened citizenry willing to stand together to correct our course not for our sake but, as our founders always kept sight of, for the future.
Come join us, learn, and make a difference.

Well it is a new year and a time for new beginnings. Though the elections did not go exactly as we had hoped there were still some very positive results. Statewide, the GOP was taken over by followers of Dr. Ron Paul and his Tea Party minded philosophies. The results of this are going to be interesting to watch and may put Iowa front and center in…[Read more]
